Postpartum Support
As a Postpartum Doula my goal is to listen to your needs, to give you the time & space to look after yourself, to make sure you are nourishing your body (with food and love!), to provide you with evidence based research and to gently guide you so you can feel confident as a parent.

This service is available in packages for daytime care and at an hourly rate for overnight care.

What is included?

My services are tailored to your unique needs and could include a combination of the following:
-
Helping to ease you into parenting.
-
Offering physical and emotional support to you and your family during the first three months of your newborns life.
-
Cooking (preparing meals, snacks).
-
Help to create a home environment that feels comfortable for you.
-
Light housework (laundry, tidying, dishes).
-
Feeding support (breast/chest/bottle).
-
Holding baby while you rest/shower.
-
Help with nighttime feeding, settling or changing so you can ensure you're getting enough hours of uninterrupted sleep.
-
Help both parents and siblings adjust to the new baby.
-
Guidance to better understand baby's cues.
-
Connect you with community resources.

These are just a few examples. I am happy to chat further on how I can best support you and your family.
Travel - If you live outside of the Etobicoke, West and/or Central Toronto area, I will charge my hourly rate for my travel time.

Payment Details

If you decide I am the right fit for your family, a deposit will be required upon signing a contract to secure my services. We will then come up with a payment plan that works for everyone! Payments can be made by e-transfer.

Pay It Forward Program

There are many families who simply cannot afford a Doula. If you are in a position financially to pay for my services in full, I would love it if you would also consider adding on a donation of your choice! This will allow me to take on a few volunteer positions each year and help families in need. My focus will be on supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ families.
